Launch of the 2022 Ducati Panigale V4 Range in India with Prices Starting at Rs. 26.49 Lakh
Ducati, an exclusive Italian motorcycle manufacturer, has announced the release of its 2022 Panigale V4 lineup. Priced at Rs. 26.49 lakh for the new Panigale V4 and Rs. 31.99 lakh for the Panigale V4 S. The Panigale V4 SP2 has also been introduced, and at Rs 40.99 lakh, it is the most expensive Panigale to be sold in the nation (all prices ex-showroom, India). Here is all the information you need to know about the Ducati Panigale V4 series for 2022.
2022 Ducati Panigale V4: Design
The Panigale V4 2022 experiences some substantial modifications that remodel its look and give the motorcycle a more aggressive appearance. Black logos are affixed to the fully red fairings, a double-fabric saddle (two-tone on the S version), and, once again for the S version, a red tag on black rims are all part of the new visual concept created by the Ducati Centro Stile.
The work done on the fairing, which has been updated in comparison to the previous model to strengthen the aerodynamic set-up in response to the ongoing MotoGP changes, also contributes to the aggressive appearance. The bike now has more efficient, smaller, and more compact double-profile wings that yet support a vertical load of up to 37 kg at 300 km/h. In order to increase cooling and, by extension, the performance of the engine, particularly on racetracks, the bottom portion of the fairing also has updated extraction sockets. Every little detail on the Panigale V4 has its own significance, as seen by the tiny aperture on the fairing's left side that enables the Quick shifter to maintain its temperature.
The saddle and fuel tank of the MY22 Panigale V4 have both undergone major redesigns, which constitute the most significant alterations. The former now has a flatter shape and a better coating, which allows for simpler body mobility and lessens the inclination for the rider to slide forward when braking. In comparison to the 2021 version, the fuel tank has a redesigned form that increases its capacity (by one litre) and provides an entirely different fit area, allowing riders of all sizes to better anchor during braking and travel farther and quicker.
2022 Ducati Panigale V4 Performance
The 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale from MotoGP serves as the bike's engine
and has received a number of improvements. The new engine is coupled
with a new oil pump and silencer. These changes, together with
specialised engine tuning, enable the Desmosedici Stradale to produce a
maximum power boost of 1.5 horsepower, resulting in 215.5 horsepower at
13,000 rpm, as well as a torque of 123.6 Nm at 9,500 rpm. Additionally,
it offers the rider a torque of over 100 Nm at 6,000 rpm.
In-depth information: The first gear has been prolonged by 11.6%, while
the second has been lengthened by 5.6%. The tightest curves are now
simpler to navigate in first gear thanks to this new gearbox, which also
improves engine braking and corner exit acceleration. Furthermore, the
new calibrated DQS performs better and produces more satisfying results
due to the lower rpm difference between the first two ratios. The sixth
gear has also been prolonged by 1.8%, which combined with the increased
engine power results in a peak speed that is 5 km/h faster than the
Panigale V4 2021.
